Creating Opportunities for Meaningful Participation, Achievement, Success, and Self-Regulation
The COMPASS Program is a supportive, inclusive learning space for students in Grades 5–9 who benefit from additional structure, flexibility, and connection.
Built on the values of a compass—Navigating, Empowering, Supporting, and Welcoming—COMPASS ensures students are included and engaged in meaningful learning experiences.
Key Focus Areas:
- Belonging & Inclusion: Encouraging peer relationships and participation in school life
- Personalized Learning: Driven by IPPs, adaptive supports, and tools like ABLLS and AFLS
- Social-Emotional Growth: Focused teaching in communication, regulation, and life skills
- Collaborative Team Support: Educators, families, specialists, and EAs work together
- Authentic Learning: Hands-on projects, community experiences, and creative expression
COMPASS empowers each student to grow academically, emotionally, and socially in a way that is right for them.
